Video Series

I have always been interested in Film in the graphic sense. I especially relate to its ability to tell stories with pictures. Like my digital works on paper, I integrate still images searching for a rhythm that ties them together. Without a script I allow my story to evolve. While video encourages movement, I prefer to challenge the natural rhythm of film by orchestrating and animating movement of my own. The addition music and sound effects heighten the drama to my moving sketches. I use photographic images and drawings of found objects to engage the audience. Film is a natural transition that allows me to expand my creative universe. Simple images of daily life are the characters in my urban theatre. Their venial images are glorified in my work.
